When you donate to Goodwill, it benefits both you and the community. You give your gently used items a second life and you get a tax receipt. The community receives job training in our community resource centers and a second chance at life. You can help Goodwill operate more efficiently and effectively by donating only things that can be resold in our stores. Please use the lists below as a guideline.

In November 2009 Goodwill Industries of Central NC and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC teamed up to fight hunger in the Triad. We've made all of the Goodwill donation drop off locations in the Triad permanent drop off locations for Second Harvest as well.
So when you are packing up your clothes and household items to donate to Goodwill don't forget to bring some non-perishable food items for Second Harvest as well. It's one way that you can help both Goodwill and Second Harvest build a better community. |
