We know that technology changes quickly, and sometimes that leaves you with a box full of electronics that you may not want anymore. Instead of tossing those items in the trash where they can leak toxic chemicals into our landfills, or end up in compromising hands, donate them to Goodwill. You’ll ensure a safe second chance and help your local community!

When it’s time to upgrade your tech gear, we’re happy to accept your unwanted gadgets and gizmos. If we can’t sell them in our stores, we’ll safely recycle or destroy them.

Computer Donations & Purchases
Purchasing a computer can be expensive and the specs can get confusing. Triad Goodwill makes it easy, thanks to our generous donors and trained computer repair technicians. Every computer we sell has been refurbished and certified by our team of Microsoft Registered Refurbishers. They wipe information from hard drives using U.S. Department of Defense-approved software This ensures our donors’ safety and privacy. Hard drives that we are unable to refurbish are destroyed off-site with R2/e-Steward recyclers.

Electronic Refurbishing and Recycling
We strive to refurbish, repair and resell your generously donated electronics and computers to raise money to support our mission. U.S. Department of Defense standards and R2/e-Stewards/OHSAS18001/ISO14001:2004 certifications are used to destroy company data left on hard drives.
If an item cannot be resold, we dispose of it in a responsible manner. In 2021-2022, we recycled 266,732 pounds of e-waste.
