In Person Training Event: Career Exploration and Planning, on Monday, November 21 from 1:00PM – 3:00PM at Triad Goodwill’s Career Center at 1235 S. Eugene St. in Greensboro.

Finding a job that is right for you can be fun and exciting. Goodwill Industries of Central NC strives to assist individuals with finding the job that is a right fit for them, as well as, employment that is sustaining for themselves and their families. During this course, individuals will engage in training about exploring and planning for employment and career. Topics for this training include:
• Understanding motivation and how it applies to your employment search
• Setting goals and working a plan to accomplish those results
• Understanding networking and how it can help you in finding employment
• Identifying successful job searching tips
• Learning the components of a resume and how to tailor it for employment
• Understanding the interview process and how to deal with uncomfortable circumstances
