In-Person Training: Employability Skills Session I

Employability Skills Session I on Monday, September 25 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Triad Goodwill Career Center at 1235 S. Eugene St. in Greensboro, NC.

Goodwill Industries of Central NC strives to assist individuals with finding a job that is a right fit for them, as well as, employment that is sustaining for themselves and their families. This course is the first part in a two-part series and provides an overview of the many resources needed to achieve a successful job search. Topics for this training include:

• Setting goals and working on a plan to accomplish those results.
• Understanding networking and how it can help you in finding employment.
• Identifying successful job-searching tips.
• Resume and cover letter fundamentals.
• Learning the components of a resume and how to tailor it for employment.
• Understanding the interview process and how to deal with common questions.
