Celebrating New Beginnings: CMA Academy Graduation
This month, we proudly celebrated a powerful milestone as three Triad Goodwill participants—Jeanine, Ke’osha, and Kiana—graduated from the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Academy. The graduation ceremony honored two cohorts of newly certified CMAs and marked the culmination of six months of dedication, perseverance, and growth as participants prepared to enter the healthcare field with Cone Health. Throughout the CMA Academy, participants committed themselves to rigorous training while balancing life’s many demands. Their journey required resilience, courage, and belief in a brighter future. One participant captured this hope perfectly on a slide displayed during the ceremony: “My best is yet to come.” That message echoed throughout the room. Graduates and speakers alike reflected on the importance of having people who believe in you—especially during moments when you may struggle to believe in yourself. The ceremony was filled with stories of encouragement, community, and the determination it takes to pursue a calling in healthcare.
The Power of Career Navigation and Community
At its core, this celebration highlighted the transformative power of a career. Triad Goodwill’s team members, training partners, and Career Navigators walk alongside participants every step, offering guidance, encouragement, and resources to help them move from aspiration to achievement. Through our partnership with Cone Health and the Family Success Centers, we’ve learned together, grown together, and witnessed firsthand how access to opportunity—paired with strong support systems—can fundamentally change the trajectory of lives.
A Moment Worth Celebrating
Graduates were met with cheers from our team and celebrated with their families. The joy on their faces was undeniable. It was a reminder that success is sweeter when it’s shared—and that behind every credential earned is a community that helped make it possible.
To our graduates: congratulations on stepping into careers defined by compassion, skill, and service. And to our team: thank you for your leadership, patience, and dedication. Your commitment to walking alongside participants is creating lasting change.
