Essential Computer Skills on Tuesday, May 2 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Triad Goodwill Career Center at 1235 S. Eugene St. in Greensboro, NC.
The Essential Computer Skills course is designed to assist individuals with learning the basics of computer operation. Digital skills are a vital part of everyday life and necessary for success in the workplace. This course will cover topics such as:
- Learning to log on and shut down computers and other devices
- Navigating computer functions
- Troubleshooting basic computer challenges
- Setting preferences for computer use
- Basics of email use in your personal and professional life
- Best practices for writing emails, and how to manage their inboxes for better efficiency
- Online safety concepts to help protect you when using email
*The initial meeting is in-person, then there will be on-demand lessons through NorthStar Digital Learning.
