In Person Training Event: Accessing Community Resources

Accessing resources in your community is fundamental for survival, employment searching, and gaining opportunities for life enrichment. This workshop will teach students how to identify available resources in the community and develop a plan for contacting resources when needed. The coursework includes:
• Defining “community”
• Identifying types of resources to fulfill survival, security, social, and life enrichment needs
• Explaining how the Internet can assist in resource location and contact
