DESCRIPTION:The Cone Health Mobile Medicine Unit will be onsite at 1235 S. Eugene Street\, Greensboro! \nThe Cone Health Mobile Medicine Unit provides basic\, acute\, and primary care services\, including patient education\, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. \nAll patients age 6 and older are welcome. No appointment is necessary\, as patients will be seen in the order of their arrival. This service is available to everyone\, including our employees. \nServices Provided \n\nAcute disease management (colds\, sore throat\, flu)\nChronic disease management (hypertension\, diabetes\, asthma\, COPD)\nPost ED/hospital care for other acute conditions (e.g.\, pneumonia\, cellulitis\, etc.)\nNo-cost or low-cost lab services for common primary care labs\nPrescriptions and pharmacist support for medication access\nPhysical assessments\, including sports physicals and wellness exams\nWell child and sick child visits\nSexually transmitted infection screenings and treatment\nBehavioral health and care coordination\nReferrals to primary and specialty care as appropriate\nWomen’s health support (referrals for pap smears and mammograms at low or no cost)\nReferrals to dental clinics\nEye screenings and exams\nFood prescriptions\nPharmacy assistance\nFinancial assistance\n\nThese services are billed to employer insurance\, Medicare\, and Medicaid.
