DESCRIPTION:In-Person Event: Careers On The Outside Open Registration\, every Monday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Triad Goodwill’s Career Center at 1235 S. Eugene St. in Greensboro. \nCareers On The Outside (formerly known as Jobs On The Outside) is a program designed specifically for individuals with justice involvement to assist with reentering the workforce. The program provides training opportunities that incorporate the individuals’ strengths\, while teaching soft and concrete workplace skills\, cognitive behavioral principals\, job search best practices\, placement assistance\, and supportive services that lead to successful competitive employment. \nInterested participants should register in-person at the Career Center to complete initial paperwork. DESCRIPTION:Walk-in office hours with Veterans Bridge Home are on the third Friday of each month at the Triad Goodwill Career Center at 1235 S. Eugene Street in Greensboro\, NC. \nThe greatest factors that impact a successful and healthy life after military service are employment\, housing\, access to VA benefits\, and social connections with other veterans. Veterans Bridge Home (VBH) is that bridge that connects Veterans with the resources needed to thrive.
