New Retail Store & Donation Center Opens Thursday, August 11 at 215 S. Greensboro St. in Liberty NC! Doors Open at 10AM!
On Thursday, August 11, at 10:00 a.m. the new Triad Goodwill located at 215 S. Greensboro St., Liberty, NC 27298 will open their doors to the public. This will be the first Goodwill in Liberty, and the fourth location for the organization in Randolph county.
The new location will occupy the former Dollar General. The 8,000 square foot retail floor will be filled with gently-used and new clothing for the whole family, plus a robust section of donated books. The store will also showcase donated furniture, housewares, shoes, and more!
“We are so excited to be part of the Liberty community and have already been blown away by the generosity of the donors in the area,” explains Brady Craven, district manager for Triad Goodwill. “Right when people saw our signs go up, we were welcomed with bags and literal truckloads of donations!”
Brady, who will oversee the operations of this location also shared that 90% of the employees for this store are from the local community. “A lot of people think that we are just a thrift store, but there is so much more that we do, and we are so happy to extend our reach and have the opportunity to provide more services for those in need thanks to this community,” explains Brady.
Triad Goodwill improves the lives of individuals in the community through no-cost and low-cost education, training, and employment opportunities. Their programs help people overcome the barriers that separate them from gainful, long-term employment.
Doors will open to the public for shopping on Thursday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Throughout the weekend shoppers can enter to win prizes from various local businesses and receive a few goodies while they shop!
The retail store will be open for shopping Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and open on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The donation center will be open Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m.
