The Baker’s Basket
Do you have a baker in the family? They can never have too many utensils! Pick up a couple of mixing bowls, a rolling pin, and some rubber spatulas for the perfect baker’s basket! We paired them with these adorable, festive metal cookie cutters and a hand towel from our new goods section for the finishing touches.
You could easily add some extra holiday flare to this gift too! Pick up a quart mason jar and fill it with the dry ingredients from your favorite family holiday cookie recipe. Top off the jar with some ribbon and a hand written recipe card.
Tea Set For Two
Know someone who loves a good spot of tea? Build them a one-of-a-kind a tea-lovers gift set! Mix and match china like this for an elegant and eclectic tea set.
We’re in love with this milk glass cake stand, gilded vase, delicate tea cups with the ….. makers mark, and cream pitcher with saucer. We added these doylies and a couple of high-quality, yellow, cloth napkins with a funky print to really tie things together.
Simply add in their favorite bagged teas or even loose leaf blends from your favorite local tea shop and some homemade cookies or scones and voila! You have a tea fit for a Queen.
You can really have fun with these items too. Cups and saucers aren’t just for tea! You can turn them into fun planters for small succulents or even turn them into candles, but more on that later!
The Home Spa Basket
Who doesn’t want a little more TLC?! We could all use a bit more pampering and self care especially during the holidays! Create this perfect stay-at-home spa set with some easy to find items and few simple ingredients from home.
We found some fun glass jars and tins and to make this goodie basket extra special. Filled the jars with homemade Lavender Epsom Salts (mix dried lavender buds with Epsom Salts) and Vanilla Cinnamon Sugar Body Scrub (mix 1 cup of brown sugar with 3-5 tablespoons of Sweet Almond Oil, dash of vanilla extract and cinnamon). Then, we filled the tin with some sheet masks, and lotion from a local beauty supply store. To finish it all off, we layered in a super soft headband, new goods hand towel, a vintage copy of Jane Eyre and this Easy DIY Tea Cup Candle (see simple instructions below)!
This basket is great for ANYONE on your list and there’s tons of ways to customize it. Flannel Pajamas or a hoodie would make a great addition too!
