My Store is a fun, personal showcase of our customers’ favorite Triad Goodwill retail stores, and the unique, personal reasons why they love them. Whenever we get the chance to talk with our shoppers, their LOVE and enthusiasm shines through!
As one of our customers at our grand opening of this new location, Karen loves to shop for athletic wear and pillows with us, especially in vivid colors!
When asked about her favorite store, she said that she really likes them all! She will probably go to the new one on W Gate City Blvd more because it’s closer to her, but she also likes several of our Greensboro stores — the one on Battleground Ave, North Elm St, and the Bins (the buy by the pound outlet store.)
Karen looks for Lilly Pulitzer and all the athletic brands when she comes to Triad Goodwill. Athletics are so expensive most places, and so most all of her workout clothes come from Goodwill. She mentioned that she avoids the new tennis shoes though — too slippery on the gym floor! ❤️
Her favorite piece of thrifting advice?
Take your time and look carefully when looking through clothes so that you won’t miss a gem!
