Triad Goodwill will open our very first location in Graham on Wednesday, August 21st!
But to help celebrate the addition of this all new retail store and donation center located on 841 South Main Street in Graham, on Saturday, August 24th, we’re going to host a Grand Opening Super Saturday Sales Event with FREE CUPCAKES, FREE TACOS, and FREE FACEPAINTING! Best of all, we are partnering with local breast cancer charity Little Pink Houses of Hope to donate all of our newest store’s change round-up for that Saturday!
Based in Alamance County, Little Pink Houses of Hope is devoted to helping families going through the difficult breast cancer journey with retreats to help them focus on celebrating life. Triad Goodwill will launch our Saturday fundraiser as part of our #GoodwillGivesBack community initiative.
“This will be the first Triad Goodwill location to open in Graham, we wanted to highlight different businesses and organizations in that community that give the area such a unique local character,” says Teresa Smith, Marketing Director for Triad Goodwill.
Triad Goodwill will partner with local bakery Blondie Bakes to give away free cupcakes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the event, while supplies last.
Then from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., they will give shoppers 100 coupons for free tacos from El Farito Taco Truck, who will sell tacos to additional customers for $1.50 each.
Burlington’s Painted Grape Craft & Paint Studio (www.paintedgrapenc.com) will also host a free face painting booth for customers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
And in addition to the fundraiser and free cupcakes, tacos and face painting, shoppers will be able to find amazing deals on gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, furniture and more.
Best of all, 85 cents for every dollar Triad Goodwill earns will fund the organization’s mission to improve the quality of life of local people by helping them access gainful employment via hiring events and free education courses.
