Let’s Talk Thrifted Christmas Gift Ideas!
‘Tis the Holiday Season already, and boy did it sneak up on me. This year has flown by and I feel like I’m behind on all things Christmas. By now, my house would have usually already been decorated for the holiday but I’ve had no time. It’s for sure at the TOP of my to do list.
Until then…I stopped by Triad Goodwill to browse their Christmas section and came up with a few Thrifted Christmas gift ideas to share!
Here’s a few of my favorite finds:
Relaxation essentials
For only $4.99, this brand new Bath Bliss bath pillow caught my eye, and I thought this would be a great gift for one of my friends. I’m going to add this bath pillow in her gift bag along with a gift card to her favorite store – she will love it!
Triad Goodwill also has Bela pure natural plant oil soaps. They are a cute gift idea, smell so good and would make a great stocking stuffer!
And this brand new Jessica Simpson leopard hair band will be perfect as a stocking stuffer for my bonus kiddo! She loves leopard print anything.
Thrifting trinkets
I’m always looking for cute little trinkets to either put with gift cards or to use as a gift card holder, and this dainty miniature gold basket caught my eye. I’m definitely going to use this as a gift card holder for a close friend of mine this year.
Speaking of gift card holders – Triad Goodwill is selling packs of 6 money / gift card holders for only $1.59. Be sure to check your closest Triad Goodwill for those!
For the book lover in your life
Who’s the obsessive reader in your life? It could be you, but for me, it’s my co-worker. She always has a new book in hand!
This vintage set of The Lord of the Rings trilogy is going to be a great gift! I’m loving the used vintage look of this set, and I know she will love it too. It will look great displayed alongside her other vintage Lord of the Rings items.
Children’s toys for girls and boys
I feel like there’s sometimes a stigma on purchasing used stuffed animals from thrift stores. I completely understand the concern, but I was recently reminded by a fellow thrifting influencer that the majority of these items can be easily washed and disinfected with detergent, oxy clean, and Lysol disinfecting liquid detergent. There are entire (and very satisfying to watch) threads online dedicated specifically to how to disinfect stuffed animal toys. The item turns out good as new, but without the tags. So I decided to buy this perfect condition blue giraffe animal for one of my little cousins!
For only $1.99, this lightweight plastic baseball and bat would be the perfect gift for the toddler in your life. It comes in several colors to choose from right now. Wishing my bonus kiddos were this small again ❤️
And if you need some extra candy to stuff those Christmas stockings, Triad Goodwill has you covered there too–so many affordable goodies to choose from.
Hosting Christmas this year?
I found the cutest winter snow flake ice cube molds for only $1.59 (vs. competitor price of $11.99!) I’m going to use these this year to make adorable Christmas winter cocktails. So festive!
I found this brand new (with tags!) Vera Bradley lunch tote for only $5.99 – I’m not sure who I’m going to gift this to just yet, but knew I couldn’t pass up this deal. One of my friends would love this. I love it! Maybe I’ll keep this one for myself? 👜
The new Triad Goodwill on West Gate City Blvd has a brand new jewelry kiosk and the items are super affordable. They have some very cute and trendy earrings and necklaces that would make great little Christmas gifts for the hostess in your life…
Wrapping up
What about wrapping these thrifted gifts? Triad Goodwill has that covered too!
I bought rolls of wrapping paper, Christmas bows, tissue paper, and gift bags in the Christmas section, and that certainly saved me money.
Christmas sweater season
You didn’t think I’d walk out without throwing together a Christmas outfit for you did you?
I was on the hunt for a hunter green Christmas sweater … and found this oversized gem by Wonderly ( a Belk brand ) for only $4.99. YES!
And here’s how I styled it– I’ll probably be wearing this thrifted outfit to our upcoming Holiday Christmas Party. 🎄
Until the next thrift haul,
