GREENSBORO, NC – Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina, Inc. (Triad Goodwill) has you covered this prom season with the return of Project Prom! Whether you’re looking for a long dress, a short dress, sequin, lace, and everything in between- we have it! The Triad Goodwill Retail Store located at 3519 N. Elm Street in Greensboro will be packed with hundreds – yes hundreds of dresses priced between $9.99 – $59.99. The sale starts Saturday, March 25 and will run through Saturday, April 1.

The Project Prom event will feature gowns in a variety of colors, sizes, styles, and brands. Many of the dresses are brand new with tags, while others may have only been worn once! The store will also be filled with shoes, accessories, and jewelry– truly everything you need to make the night of your dreams a reality, without busting your budget! The collection will also feature dresses perfect for bridesmaids and wedding guests, plus a wide variety of mother of the bride dresses.

“Prom is such a special and fun time, and we want everyone to have an outfit they will remember forever,” explains Teresa Smith East, vice president of marketing at Triad Goodwill. “We know money is a concern for a lot of families this year, and that’s why we are so thankful for our donors who have gifted us these beautiful dresses so we can offer them at such reasonable prices, and continue helping our communities.”

Project Prom begins on Saturday, March 25 at 10AM at the Triad Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center at 3519 N. Elm Street in Greensboro. Special guest, Josie from our friends at WKZL will be LIVE outside the store from 1PM – 3PM on Sunday, March 26 so stop on by, spin the prize wheel, and share what dress you find!

Like all purchases from Triad Goodwill, funds generated from this event will go to the organization’s mission of providing job training opportunities for job seekers in the community. Job training programs like, Careers on the OutsideCDL Training, and HVAC/R Certifications, plus no-cost online and in-person workshops are all possible thanks to our donors and shoppers.
